Customer had no drive when put in gear or real hard engagement, after a quick diagnoses i found the check balls worn inside the transmissions valve body. Repaired the vehicle with a new seperator plate and check balls, about 120$ in parts and 600$ labor. A different repair shop quoted him 5,000$ for a new transssmission.
This A class Mercedes Benz needed a dual clutch, it required the removal of engine and transmission.
This vehicle had a no start no crank condition, found the power wire to the park neutral safety switch module with high resistance.
The lifter failed on this dodge grand caravan causing damage to the camshaft. Ended up replacing the motor with a used one.
The camshaft bent on this mercedes benz sl500 from hydro lock when the customer drove through a deep puddle. The customer provided this replacement engine with a cracked front case, it required the removal of the camshafts and timing chains to swap the cracked cover.

Picture 2. This vehicle had a traction control light and check engine light with wheel speed sensor fault codes. After the customer replaced the wheel speed sensor, he came to me. I found a break in the wheel speed sensors signal wire leading to the computer located behind the rear seat.
This vehicle had a parasite draw of 840mA, thats 800mA over the allowed draw. I found the drivers seat module was the culprit. It was not turning off. Replacing the seat module brought the vehicle back to an acceptable 30mA draw.
Was also a great chance to test my new scan tool amp clamp combo!!
After market 2800rpm stall conver after a stage 2 camshaft instalation.
